Pataskala, Ohio

Located 17 miles east of Columbus along the South Fork of the Licking River in Southwestern Licking County, Pataskala is home to two school districts – Southwest Licking Local Schools and Licking Heights Local Schools.  

Founded in 2000, Licking Heights school district is home of the Hornets. The district serves grades k-12 in Pataskala, parts of Reynoldsburg, Jefferson Township and the city of Blacklick.  

The consolidation of three school districts (Etna Township, Kirkersville and Pataskala) created the Southwest Licking School District in 1953. Home to the Warriors, the Southwest Licking School District serves grades k-12.
